What Trimora owners say
FAQs
How do I know where the quick is?
On light nails, hold the LED against the nail and the quick shows as a pink or dark shadow — stop about 2mm short of it. On dark nails, use the grinder and go slowly; when a small dark circle appears in the centre of the nail, stop there.
Will it scare my pet?
The motor is deliberately low-noise and low-vibration, which is the main thing that spooks pets. For the first few sessions, switch it on near your pet without touching them, let them investigate it, and reward them. Most pets settle within two or three trims.
What if my dog has really thick nails?
Use speed 3 and work in short passes rather than pressing hard. Thick nails take a few extra seconds, not more force.
Is it suitable for cats and kittens?
Yes — use speed 1. It's also fine for rabbits and guinea pigs.
How often should I be doing this?
Every 3–4 weeks for most dogs. If you can hear clicking on hard floors, they're overdue.
How long does the battery last?
Around 90 minutes of use per charge, recharged over USB-C. For most households that's several months between charges.
